Install & activate UMM

Install the extension, open UMM and choose activation or the Demo Kitchen.

Install the extension

UMM 2027 supports SketchUp 2025–2027 on macOS and Windows. Download the UMM .rbz installer, then install it with SketchUp’s Extension Manager.

  1. Open Extension Manager and choose Install Extension.
  2. Select the UMM .rbz file and follow SketchUp’s installation prompts.
  3. Open Extensions → Ultimate Material Manager….

Activate or explore the demo

Enter your License Key and choose Activate License. Read any connection or activation message in the dialog.

  1. To explore first, choose Explore Demo, then Download & Open to download the 38.5 MB kitchen model.
  2. Wait for download and verification; UMM then opens the kitchen in SketchUp. Later launches reuse the verified download.
  3. Choose Quick Start in the Demo Kitchen banner for the Variants, Texture, and Materializer introduction. Added or imported content is excluded from demo operations.
  4. For your own projects, activate your license and open your model.

Find your first tool

Select a cabinet or chair in SketchUp. Locate its materials with Scan Selection, then choose the kind of change you want to make.
