How to use it
- Select the material you want to locate.
- Turn on Highlight and inspect its preview.
- Turn Highlight off to return to the normal appearance.
Expected result
Locate a timber finish before deciding whether to edit or replace it.
Controls & options
| Control | What it does |

| Highlight | Toggle the colored preview for the selected material. |
| Highlight colour | Choose its accent color in Settings → Highlighting. |
Behavior and limits
Highlight helps locate usage without assigning another material. Turn it off when you want to review the model’s normal appearance. Material Variants has its own Show Uses and Show Editable Faces actions.
