Isolate

Limit the material list to materials on the current selection.

Filters the list; does not isolate model geometry.

How to use it

  1. Select the objects in SketchUp.
  2. Turn on Isolate.
  3. Turn Isolate off to restore the broader material list.

Expected result

While working on kitchen cabinets, browse their materials without hiding the rest of the model geometry.

IsolateToggle selection-based filtering. Toggle off to return to the broader material list.

Behavior and limits

Isolate is a material-list filter. It is not the same as hiding other geometry in SketchUp. Search and other list filters can also affect what remains visible.
