Controls & options
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Scope | Choose Full Model or Selection Only. |
| Groups with identical names share materials | Use one generated material for matching group names; disabling can create more separate materials. |
| Use Group / Component / Tag name as material name | Use source names instead of generic material names. |
| Material Prefix / Suffix | Add consistent text to generated names. |
| Materialize from Tags | Include raw tag domains; choose the available tag naming options. |
| Analyze | Build the source-to-material plan and review estimates and blocked rows. |
| Include | Choose which eligible mapping rows will be used. |
| Create & Assign | Execute the reviewed plan. Existing materials with the matching name can be reused. |
Behavior and limits
If the selection changes after Analyze, analyze again. The plan is tied to the reviewed scope.
Selection-scope component contents require all relevant shared occurrences to be safely in scope. Blocked rows explain cases such as shared-component scope or conflicting tags. The tool does not implicitly make components unique.
